Seeking a Massachusetts-licensed provider, a pediatrician or Physician’s Assistant, for either part-time work, or intermittent long weekends or vacations. Office features an electronic medical record system, electronic prescribing and faxing. Patients are of all ages, mainly from local communities. Light after-hours calls and some hospital responsibilities. Ideal for a parent or student seeking some clinical contact and not functioning as a household’s main wage earner.

 

Nurse or Medical Assistant

 

20–32 hours/week, “mother's hours” possible. Must have experience performing vital signs on children, and be able to make clear and accurate notes in electronic medical record. Responsibilities include telephone care, measuring infants, children, adolescents and young adults, obtaining vital signs including peak flows, assessing hearing and vision from early childhood, providing bronchodilator treaments through a spacer or compressor, and assisting with vaccinations.
